That's a wrap!

Finally, Christmas day has come and already passed. The stockings are all emptied, the tree now looks bare, and the mom & dad are spent from the days activities. For weeks we've prepared for this day and in a short 48 hour span, it is has come and gone. We visited with both sides of our families. Lot's of goodies have been devoured. Many presents have been given and received. Through it all, my family and I spent this time together sharing what Christmas is all about. Although commercialism and big business try desperately to convince everyone otherwise, we know that Christ is the true essence of what Christmas is all about.

It's moments like these when we spend precious moments together that we realize how blessed we truly are. We have a warm home full of love. Our bellies are full and we have clothes on our backs. We've been blessed with good health. But most of all, my family and I have a loving Saviour that has given us life eternal and has blessed us beyond comprehension or understanding. I'm thankful I live in a country where we can freely worship & praise our loving God . We can share what He has done in our lives thru the sacrifice at the Cross where he gave His life freely for us, died, and three days later, rose victoriously from the grave to rule and reign forevermore. Praise God!

May the blessings of Christmas be yours this day!
