April weekend fun

Monster trucks, Megasaurus, Cruising on two wheels, and beautiful warm weather. Nice combination for an all around nice weekend. After working with my wife to get another issue of Buckeye Wheels done, we were off to Columbus to go see the Monster Truck Nationals at my son Jericho's request as his birthday present.

Overall the crowd was average, but not crowded. This was a good event, albeit in a small facility. During the two hours we were there we saw miniature monster truck races, jumping monster trucks smashing cars, two truck turnovers, a jet powered golf cart, and indoor truck jumps/races. All in all a good family event to be enjoyed by everyone.

The weekend wasn't done as I finally got the motorcycle out today and carved about 40 miles of asphalt cruising around Licking county, took a trip around Dawes Arboretum & Buckeye Lake and then back home via back roads. Weather was sunny and 64 degrees. A nice ride by any measure. More rides to come.
