6-9-2010, 205lbs.

I started the morning off at 5:25am today, took a motorcycle ride to the east side of town for a 6am men's Bible study, hot coffee, and freshly made blueberry muffins. I was back home by 7:45am to change clothes and head out the door jogging by 8:15am. I jogged exactly 1.3 miles before stopping to walk for .6 miles, and then jogging another .4 miles. I then finished with a .2 mile cool down and stretching. Total circuit was 2.5 miles. Very good workout today.

When I weighed myself today, I was very pleased to see I've dropped down to 205lbs. I'm stoked with how much weight I've lost, but still need to focus on refining my eating habits & increase the intensity & regularity of my workouts. I've been plagued by back problems, health issues, crappy weather, and poor morale, but I've continued despite these setbacks and will continue to push through.

In reflection, although I've miss my original goal of losing 45lbs in 120 days, I'm still pleased I've stuck it out this long. I will continue to push myself to the point I am down to at least 195lbs and able to run a 5k circuit.

Ironically, when I reviewed my journal to refresh my memory, I realized I decided to start this blog on my daughters 19th birthday. Funny I never realized that before now.
