Christmas! It conjures all manner of thoughts, but most especially of cookies, cakes, candies and other holiday goodies. I admit I am guilty of indulging into these pleasures. I am especially vulnerable to homemade buckeyes and cream cheese cookies. Besides, these only come once per year! The real trick is moderation.
Today started well! Have started adding some jogging into my routine. Small steps. This being week 3, I will try to jog at least a quarter mile 2x during my 1 - 1.5 mile walks at least 3 times per week until I can comfortably push a half mile of jogging all at once. Goal is to eventually get to jogging a full mile. Again i'm gonna take it slow. Need to stretch my comfort levels gradually to keep soreness & discouragement at bay and push thru. Pretty confident I can do it.
