3-26-10

Just a brief update. Wednesday had a great 1.5 hr Martial arts class and worked up a tremendous sweat traiing with my students. As part of my goals as an instructor, I wanted to take a more proactive approach to training alongside of my students and not just telling them what to do. This reinforces my knowledge & conditioning to stay sharp & refining my techinique, while staying in shape to handle the rigorous demands of the martial arts.

Tonight though, I decided to squeeze in a 2 mile jog/run circuit tonight before the NCAA basketball games start tonight. Very tough run as the ouside temps took a dive with the latest cold front that has come thru the midwest dropping a couple inches of snow overnight and temps in the teens. By this evening though, most of the white stuff had melted off and temps rose to a high of 40, which made it tolerable to run in, albeit briefly.
