For weeks the group of cyclists from my church invited me to join them on a motorcycle trip to Gatlinburg, TN. After much thought, prayer, and aligning my finances to cover this trip, I agreed to go, albeit with much anxiety, but excited too. Until this week, I'd never riden beyond the state lines of the Ohio valley. That would change soon enough with a road trip 3 states away.
We met Sunday morning over breakfast and left in the drizzling rain to begin our trip south. 13 hrs after we met, we arrived at our mountain sanctuary which was a beautiful log cabin with luxurious accommodations with a view of the mountains.
Of course this is just the briefest of details of our trip. Followup posts to come with lots of pics. Stay tuned
