Week 1 workouts starts with a brisk 5 minute walk, followed by 60 seconds of jogging, and 90 seconds of walking. Repeat this for 20 minutes and then finish with a 5 minute cool down walk.
Week 2 workouts consist of a brisk 5 minute walk, followed by 90 seconds of jogging, and 2 minutes of walking. Repeat this for 20 minutes and then finish with a 5 minute cool down walk. We workout 3 times a week. The weather was absolutely gorgeous out as the sun was setting this evening with a very cool breeze to keep things cool, which is a nice contrast to the 90 degree days we've been experiencing lately.
The irony of the day is we played 18 holes of golf this morning and then the 5k training this evening running with our group. All in all, a very good day.
