Today was an absolutely great night! I got to watch my son play baseball in the company of my wife, my Dad, and my step-mom. To top it all off, Jericho got a double at his first at-bat and scored for a homerun on an RBI. On his second at bat he struck out, but that's ok. His third at-bat, he got a single. But the best part was seeing him stepping up and going over to the opposing teams' dugout well after the game was over and went and personally congratulated the coaches for playing such a great game (which they did)! That's what it's all about. Sportsmanship! When I saw that, I knew all the years I've coached with my son, all paid off in that one defining moment!
