The weather has finally stabilized and i'm finally able to ride again. Broke in my new leather biker jacket Saturday riding along with George & his wife Jackie up to Mt. Vernon. Weather was in mid-50s and sunny. After taking care of business at Mid-Ohio Motorcycle, we took 661 back home. Nice ride with little to no traffic. Average speed 70mph with lots of open country road and no cops anywhere.
On Sunday, took another short hop around town to shake out the cobwebs.
Took the bike to work today. Morning was sunny and the temps around 50 degrees. Coming home weather was sunny and 71 degrees. Lot's of other bikers on the road enjoying the break in weather. Seems like the amount of folks on bikes has gone up this year. Don't remember seeing this many people riding before.
Figure once the weather stabilizes (now that Spring is here), I'll start venturning on some road trips around the state of Ohio. One of my hobbies is photography and history, which I plan to capture and add to my personal portfolio of images I've accumulated over time. I plan to take a trip along the Muskingum River south of Zanesville and go south towards Marietta. Another trip I'm planning is through the Hocking Hills and pass through to the Ohio River to the Portsmouth floodwalls. Another trip will be to go to the Leave A Mark Biker Weekend in Lockbourne, Ohio the weekend of July 12th - 13th. Won't be long and I'll be up at dawn and taking the road to nowhere in particular with some fresh tunes in the ears and two wheels burning up the asphalt. If you want to join me, call me and let's ride!
